3. Ellen and Rose have known each other since 1977.
    Ellen and Rose have known each other for 40 years.
4. The teacher has been in school since 8:00.
    The teacher has been in school for 5 hours. 
5. Robbie has had a beard since November.
    Robbie has had a beard for 6 months.
6. Dennis has owned his car since 2013.
    Dennis has owned his car for four years.
7. Maria has worn glasses since she was 5 years old.
8. David has been in love with Patricia since they were teenagers.
    David has been in love with Patricia for many years.
9. Mark has worked at the bank since 2014.

   5. Incarcerating = imprisoning (keeping in prison)


Vocabulary
