After you finish
identifying the cause and effect for each question, combine the two clauses/sentences
to make THREE complex sentence using cause/effect conjunctions.
E.g. There was a loud
boom of thunder, and my dog began to scratch the door.
Examples of complex
sentence:
a) Since there was a
loud boom of thunder, my dog began to scratch at the door.
b) Due to the loud
boom of thunder, my dog began to scratch at the door.
c) My dog began to
scratch at the door because there was a loud boom of thunder.
