Answers to New Password 5: Unit 2 Wrap-up

Here are the answers to Unit 2 in our New Password 5 book.

NP 5 – Unit 2 Wrap-up Answers

Summaries of each paragraph:
Par. 1: Scientists have proven that the brains of teenagers differ from the brains of adults or children.
Par. 2: Scientists have discovered that the teen behaviors which worry parents most happen because of brain changes/development.
Also, they found that the brain continues to grow after the age of 3 and that the brain of an adult is smaller than the brain of a teenager.
Par. 3: The brain cells that are used the most remain in the brain; those that are used less begin to die until the brain becomes fully grown.
Par. 4: Parents should have an understanding when it comes to the way teenagers spend time because what teens do today will have an impact on their brains for the remainder of their lives.
